Specialties of Jeff Derry:
The independent, not-for-profit organization, Center for Snow and Avalanche Studies, conducts and facilitates snow system research and mountain system monitoring at the 291 ha Senator Beck basin Study Area in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado. Through our Colorado Dust on Snow Program, we monitor snowpack and dust-in-snow conditions on behalf of the Colorado water community throughout the state of Colorado.
